Data Processing Agreement

This DPA forms part of the Terms of Service between the User (Controller) and DotPortion (Processor).

Purpose

DotPortion processes data only to:

  • Provide backend and workflow services
  • Improve system reliability and performance
  • Execute logic requested by the user

Responsibilities

Controller Responsibilities

  • Determine the nature and purpose of processing
  • Ensure data accuracy and legality

Processor Responsibilities (DotPortion)

We will:

  • Only process data under user instruction
  • Maintain strong security measures
  • Notify of breaches without undue delay
  • Support audits and compliance needs

Subprocessors

We may use approved subprocessors (cloud providers, analytics tools).
A current list will be maintained.

Data Rights

Users may request:

  • Access or export of data
  • Deletion of data
  • Correction of inaccurate information

Data Transfers

If transferring data outside the EU:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
  • Equivalent legal safeguards are applied

End of Agreement

Upon service termination, DotPortion will delete or return all user data upon request.
